Agile Spacecraft

ALOS-2 has a body pointing function of ±30º in the roll axis. For the purpose of minimizing observation intervals, the requirement for attitude maneuvering is up to 2 minutes from the Earth pointing attitude to right- or left-looking, and the maneuvering from right- to left-looking (or from left- to right-looking) is up to 3 minutes.
